## Tonal music theory library

The starter bank selects 27 FLAC recordings: nine note positions C3 through C5,
with velocity layers v4, v9 and v14. The original audio files are unmodified.
Playback transposes between sample positions, selects velocity layers, applies
gain, filtering, release envelopes and optional tremolo. No endorsement implied.
The exact source revision, source URLs, file sizes and SHA-256 checksums are in
assets/piano/manifest.json. Downloaded bank size: 44,619,897 bytes (44.62 MB).

## FM engine

The six-operator implementation and preset parameters are original project code.
No Yamaha/DX7 patches, third-party electric-piano samples or proprietary DSP are bundled.
The FM tine and reed presets are synthesised approximations, not physical models.
